known as 'Queen of Sheep', originated in the mid-18th century and is the
progeny of the Border Leicester sire and the North Country Cheviot dam. The
principal attributes of the Scotch Half-bred are her capabilities of producing
prime lambs. The ewe lambs make ideal breeding females. The Scotch Half-bred is
a very prolific breed and has proved herself a real contender. |
